How to test if my digital products are correctly set up?

You basically have 2 solutions to test if the app is correctly configured on your own store :


  1. By purchasing your own product (just like a real customer) but with a discount code that you create for you so you won't be charged


OR


  1. By creating a draft order like this :


  • Create a digital product using the app
  • Go to your Shopify Admin > Orders
  • Click on the top right button "Create Order"
  • Search for the digital product you created in the app and click on "Add to order"
  • Click on the button "Save draft order" at the bottom of your screen
  • On the new screen that appears, click on "Mark as paid", select "Other" and click on "Create Order"
  • On the new screen, locate the "More actions" and click on "View order status page"
  • If everything is fine, you will see your download button and you will receive the email containing your downloads (if you enabled the "Email Template" feature)
